Seaspray Resort | Activities & Things to See and Do

If you enjoy staying active during your holiday or stay at Seaspray Resort, you will find that there are plenty of things to see and do - so you can relax and do as little as or as much as you want!

Gym

Located on the Piazza, The Rec Club Seaspray gym has a range of equipment to help keep up your fitness regime whilst on holidays.  A team of qualified Personal Trainers is also on hand to work with you during your stay.

Swimming

Two heated swimming pools to choose from.

All-day lounging is encouraged, and an exceptional selection of food and drink, served from 10am until 4pm, ensures that if you don't want to get out of your chair all day, you won't have to.  

Or, if swimming in the ocean is more your thing .... just around the corner from Seaspray Resort on the main beachfront at Emu Park is the Emu Park Surf Lifesaving Club.

The Club patrols the beach every weekend and during school holidays between September and May.

Nature Hikes

The Cocoanut Point Headland, Cocoanut Point National Park and Wetlands Reserve is just perfect for Nature Hikes. The National Park is home to a range of eco-systems including microhyll vine forest (beach scrub); beach ridge woodland; tidal wetlands system and beachfront dunes.  The beach scrub is recognised as an endangered eco-system mainly due to the small amount that is left and is important we protect it because of the diverse range of threatened vegetation and mammals including fruit eating birds it supports.

Tennis

Lessons, clinics, match arrangement service, and rental equipment are all available on four flood lit courts. Three of the courts are of competition standard whilst the 4th combines as tennis / netball / basketball court.

Mountain Biking

Cycling is encouraged within Seaspray to limit the use of motor vehicles, and Mountain Bikes are available for hire from The Rec Club.  There are many tracks through the National Park onto the beach and Seaspray's streets and extensive network of walking / cycling paths are also a great way to get around.

Fitness & Relaxation Classes

The Rec Club Team believes healthy exercise is not all about weight lifting and running the treadmill. The Rec Club offers a broad range of group activities for Resort Guests guaranteed to excite - mountain biking and bush walking in the National Park, belly dancing, kayaking, rock 'n roll dance, yoga, pilates, fit ball, boxercise, pump, tai chi, aqua aerobics and spin cycle.

Free Activities

A range of free activities are available - table tennis, air hockey, bocce sets, basketballs, volleyball, badminton, kites, frisbees, noodles, kick boards, flippers, dvds, board games.

Li'l Rec'rs Kids Club

Available during school holidays

Operating during school holidays, the Li'l Reccers Club offers heaps of supervised activities for kids aged 6 - 12 years old.  Some of the favourite Club activities include sandcastles & kayak games on the beach, arts'n'crafts, water fights, mini boot camps, movie days, tennis etc, etc etc.

The Rec Club Creche

At The Rec Club, we want both you and your child to have a fun and enjoyable experience.  While you use our fitness facilities, our friendly and experienced staff will make sure your child is safe and happy.   Our aim is to provide a high quality and safe environment with development opportunities for young children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age.
