There are many reasons why we believe Seaspray makes a sound choice for buying an Investment Property. The combination of the lifestyle and facilities within the estate and a strong rental demand make investing here worthy of consideration.
Location
Zilzie is located on the beautiful, sub-tropical Capricorn coast, 50 kilometres from Rockhampton and 20 minutes south of Yeppoon. The area of Zilzie is set 5 minutes south of Emu Park, on a finger of land surrounded by the Coral Sea and wetlands, supporting an abundance of wildlife. The region offers spectacular views and wide open spaces only a short boat-ride from the world-class tourist resorts of the Keppel Islands.
As the suburb is quite young, homes in the Zilzie area are relatively new, although the region boasts a wide variety of land and homes including rural, residential, hobby farms, vacant land and prestige hilltop sites with million dollar views. The area has a relaxed, spacious feel as much of the area sits adjacent to lakes or the Coral Sea. Some properties in the area sit high above sea level and this height affords magnificent 360 degree views from the ridge tops, something to be seen to be believed.
Zilzie residents make use of the shopping facilities at Emu Park, with ample parks, walk- and bike-ways in the area. Employment options abound, with local jobs available in retail, teaching, trades, tourism and hospitality. With a 40 minute drive to Rockhampton CBD, greater options for employment exist in industry, commerce and other fields. In nearby Emu Park and Yeppoon, education facilities include a primary school and three high schools. Buses run regularly between all areas of the greater Rockhampton area, with rail, highway and airport infrastructure providing access to and from other parts of the state. Rockhampton is the gateway to the immensely prosperous Queensland mining areas and as such, can expect strong infrastructure investment from private and public sector.
As a short drive from Rockhampton, Zilzie is a relaxed and friendly seaside town with sensational views, ample pastime and employment options; all on the doorstep of the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef.
