The creation of Seaspray was guided by a philosophy that recognised the environment as its best feature, something to be protected.

Seaspray is Australia’s 8th UDIA ‘EnviroDevelopment’ certified project, a scientifically-based branding system designed to make it easier for purchasers to recognise, and thereby, select more environmentally sustainable developments and lifestyles.

Seaspray has achieved EnviroDevelopment certification by:

•   Enhancing and protecting existing native ecosystems     •   Reducing greenhouse gas production from energy          by 40%       •   Reducing potable water usage by 40%     •   Encouraging community spirit by creating vibrant,         sustainable local facilities.

The award winning Zilzie Sustainable Home designed by the Architectural Practice Academy (APA) in association with Malcolm Middleton Architects was built to showcase sustainable housing design and living to the Central Queensland community.
