Surfing
Emu Park beach is one of the better surf beaches between Yeppoon and Zilzie. Whilst surfing is not usually associated with the Capricorn Coast, we'll let you into a 'big secret' - there are great surfing spots at Emu Park and also at the northern end of the Capricorn Coast, in particular along the 20klm Farnborough Beach and at Five Rocks - locals have been surfing these beaches for years.

Along this amazing coastline you will find a delightful range of activities. Whether you decide to explore the aquatic adventureland which is the Keppel Group of Islands or whether it be a visit to the Dreamtime Cultural Centre, Koorana Crocodile Farm, the Champions Brock Museum, Nob Creek Pottery in the forest, the Capricorn Caverns, traditional country arts and crafts markets, horseriding on the beach, learn to surf schools or skydiving, the Capricorn Coast offers something for everyone.
Golf
The Capricorn region boasts a number of golf clubs set in picturesque surrounds. Rydges Capricorn Resort offers 2 nationally ranked courses and is open to visitors.
Yeppoon Golf Club is an 18 hole course open to members and visitors.
Locally there is the Emu Park Golf Club, just a 7 Iron Shot from Seaspray. It's renowned for its friendly, casual atmosphere and also its 2nd hole hazard - a freshwater crocodile who has taken up residence in the dam.
